Well, hello there! I'm Micah...

Your friendly neighborhood McKinney doula!

I’m a wife, a mom, a birth worker, and a photographer, but beyond all that—I’m someone who believes in the magic of the everyday. The wild, messy, beautiful moments that make up your family’s story? Those are the moments I live to support and capture.

My family and I call Princeton, TX, home, which means I get to work with incredible families across Collin County and the greater North Dallas area. I’m also married to a retired Navy sailor, and together we’re raising two wonderfully wild little girls who keep life interesting!

When I’m not supporting growing families or behind the camera, you’ll probably find me reading, crafting, or soaking up the Texas sun—barefoot, of course. Our family loves overlanding in our tricked-out Jeep, camping under the stars, and discovering new adventures. And when we’re home, we’re probably watching Star Wars, trying new restaurants, or playing board games.

My path to birth work and photography started after having my own daughters. I know firsthand how powerful it is to feel supported, heard, and respected in birth, and I want every family to experience that same confidence. The way we bring our babies into the world shapes so much of our journey as parents, and I’m here to help make that journey one of strength, trust, and lasting memories.

I believe that birth is more than just a biological process. It is a deeply transformative journey that shapes individuals in profound ways. With each new birth, a mother - a new person - emerges, reborn into a new chapter of their life. Whether it's your first baby or your fifth,  each birth marks a significant milestone, ushering in personal growth and evolution.

Birth is a deeply personal experience, with no one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is to encourage you - through guidance, education, and support - to make the best choices for you and your family. I believe that the more supported you are during the childbirth process, the more confident you will be throughout your parenting journey.

My work as a doula is heavily informed by my yoga training and experience. I believe that preparing your mind and soul for the hard work of childbirth is just as important and preparing your body. My hope is that you'll begin to listen to your intuition, knowing she can be trusted to guide you. Whether it's telling you how to move your body during labor or telling you something doesn't feel right, I want you to be able to connect with, honor, and hone your inner wisdom.

It's that women are strong."
